The training was officially opened by Dr. Gemeda Duguma, on behalf of ๐๐ฟ. ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฎ ๐๐ถ๐ฏ๐ฎ, Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer, who highlighted the strategic role of makerspaces in fostering creativity, applied research, and gender-responsive innovation.
Closing remarks were delivered by Dr. Tesfaye Lemma Tefera, President of Wollega University, who underscored alignment with KPIs, highlighted women-only research grants, and reaffirmed the Universityโs commitment to gender equity and institutional innovation.
